When my vpn subscription ends and I have no cash

Has no one heard of Tor? It’s free, dude.

@Soren
I wouldn’t use a VPN for torrents in Germany. It’s easier to use a paid service where you can just put in torrents and download them.

Been torrenting solidly for 25 years. Never used a VPN and haven’t received a single letter.

In Germany, you’ll get a letter for just seeding one bit, lol.

Rubbish

What country are you in? I’ve had the same experience in Sweden.

Australia

Same for me. I’ve probably downloaded hundreds of terabytes and I’ve never heard from any of the different ISPs I’ve used over the years. The ISPs in the USA are either neglectful or incompetent. Probably both.

Same here. It’s not really an issue where I’m from.

I’m in a similar boat but I did get one letter for something completely random. I got a letter for downloading a Katamari Damacy PS2 ROM.

Exactly. I’m in Australia too.

Haha, I don’t need a VPN since my ISP doesn’t care.

Same here. Small town internet.

Germany would disagree with you.

Some European countries also pursue torrents.

Mainly Germany.

Only a few care. Most don’t mind, and some only bother with domestic content.

@Khai
How is that not caring?

I meant that the majority are indifferent to it. The few that do care mainly focus on local content.

Oh no, not a letter!

Yeah, it seems my ISP prefers getting my monthly payments instead of blocking my activities and losing me as a customer.
