I tried IPVanish, and it was useless. Surfshark, however, has swift speeds for IPTV streaming.
I’ve been with PIA over the past year, and it works fine for me. I don’t rely heavily on it, but it operates smoothly on my phone and Smart TV. I haven’t tried others, but as a light user, I’m sure others are okay as well.
@Zain
As a light user, I agree too, but there have been recent privacy concerns due to new ownership. I’m not sure I’d rely on it for serious needs.

Try Mullvad.
I’ve used NordVPN for years without issues.
I just recently began using AirVPN because I need port forwarding, and so far it works quite well. It’s also been excellent for streaming 4k media in Stremio, which I didn’t expect.
Using NordVPN for a considerable time now.
If you’re also interested in more products, Proton is a strong option. For about 7-8 euros a month, you get VPN, Mail, Storage, and a Password manager. It holds a solid reputation and is based in Switzerland. If you want just a VPN, NordVPN is a great choice. You can pay with crypto or send cash via mail, costing around $5/month. I used that before switching to Proton.
ProtonVPN seemed good, but they revealed personal data last month to the Swiss government. Surfshark operates from the Netherlands, making it legally safer.
I’m on Proton’s free plan but considering Surfshark since it’s currently $1.99 a month during Black Friday, and a lot of users on this forum are suggesting that.
It’s owned by KAPE Technologies, a company with a suspicious history of fostering adware and ties to intelligence agencies. Here’s more info: https://www.reddit.com/r/Express_VPN/comments/pp6lwf/former_malware_distributor_kape_technologies_now/
Windscribe is fantastic. Their emails really feel personal.
Anyone have pointers on how to access M6 France? I have Browsec, which is decent, but it won’t show M6.
I use Nord on my personal devices, especially in public spaces while traveling. It’s also handy for streaming live sports.
Proton VPN is strong for mobile and free. NordVPN is unbeatable for desktops as they offer month-to-month purchases without tricky contracts. This is a business model other ISPs should consider. I recommend both.
For anyone on the hunt for the best VPN, I’d suggest checking out NordVPN. They may have heavy marketing that not all users appreciate, but their product offers the most value. I won’t list out features, but just try the free trial and see for yourself!
@Bowie
Nord lacks ‘Advanced Browsing Protection’ for mobile users…
ExpressVPN pays a lot for promotional content. Don’t fall for the hype.
I haven’t personally tested the rest, but I often see praise for ProtonVPN.
Even though they removed port forwarding, Mullvad remains among the best when it comes to privacy.
Avoid free VPNs. Go with trustworthy options like ProtonVPN or NordVPN. Ensure your provider updates their IPs often since streaming services often block them.
