Recommendation for a fast and inexpensive VPN service?

I currently use AirVPN, but they only have one 20 Gbps server (in Switzerland), and during peak times, it gets really slow.

I’d be open to a 3-year plan, but I want to pay no more than $3/month during Black Friday. Any alternatives at that price?

Edit: NordVPN isn’t an option since they don’t support WireGuard (seriously, wtf?)

Windscribe usually offers Black Friday deals. Their regular price is about $5/month, so it should drop to $4 or $3.50 during the sale.

I only know of Proton

They have three servers in Switzerland, each with 10 Gbps, I think.

Among the recommended VPNs, Proton, Windscribe, and NordVPN have the most servers.

Performance depends on your location and the servers you connect to, but Proton has been quite fast in my experience.

By “fast,” I mean in terms of server load and capacity. AirVPN only has one 20 Gbps server, and most of the others are limited to 2 Gbps.

NordVPN actually supports WireGuard through their custom protocol, NordLynx.
