Noob Question Regarding VPN on Router

This might be a really basic question, but I haven’t been able to find a clear answer.

If I set up a VPN on my router at home and then take the router to another location and connect it to a different network, will the VPN still work, or do I have to set it up all over again?

If you set up a VPN on your router, it should still work when you connect it to a different network. You won’t need to set it up again, just plug it in and it should do its thing.
