Because Russian cards cannot be used owing to sanctions, how can I pay for a VPN? Unfortunately, cryptocurrency is not an option either, as most services demand bank or card deposits.

If you know someone in the United States or Europe, you could buy a mullvad card from Amazon and have them give you the code. Mullvad also takes cash. Not sure how Amazon operates in Russia.
