Does anyone know of a trustworthy VPN?

If it’s feasible, I’m searching for a VPN that won’t take my info and sell it. Since I’m new to using them, I’m willing to pay for one, but a free one is preferable :0. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yo, I get where you’re coming from. A lot of those free VPNs are sketchy, tbh. They say “free” but what they really mean is “we’re gonna sell your data.” If you’re serious about privacy, you might wanna look into paid ones. NordVPN or ExpressVPN are pretty solid, but yeah, they’re not free.

Free VPNs are straight-up data traps, bro. Like, why would they offer you a service for free unless they’re making money off you some other way? :skull: I used ProtonVPN for a while—it’s got a free plan and claims no logs. It’s slower, but at least your data isn’t getting pimped out, lol.

Honestly, ProtonVPN is probably your best bet for free + privacy. But if you’re really into privacy, paying is the move. I was using TunnelBear (it’s cute, lol) and they’re pretty transparent. Paid ones like Mullvad or Surfshark are decent too. You could start free, but eventually, you’ll want that extra peace of mind. :shield:

Don’t even bother with free VPNs if privacy is your main thing, fam. They all gotta make money somehow, and if it’s not a subscription, guess what? It’s YOU they’re selling. :flushed: If you can’t afford a paid one, at least go for something like Proton. But also, check out Windscribe—they have a decent free version and claim no logs. Not sure how true that is, though…

Facts. A lot of these free ones have mad sketchy terms and conditions too. Like, you gotta really read that fine print to see where your data’s going. :eyes: If you just need it for casual stuff, sure, go free. But if you’re trying to avoid big companies snatching your info, spend a little cash, bro.

For real, if you’re gonna be using a VPN all the time, it’s like… invest in yourself, ya know? :sunglasses: The free ones are okay for light use, but once you start streaming, torrenting, or doing anything intensive, they slow to a crawl. Plus, I feel like trusting a free VPN with privacy is like trusting a fox to guard the henhouse.

Yeah, ProtonVPN’s probably the best free option if you have to go free, but like everyone’s saying, paid is the way. NordVPN and Surfshark usually run deals, so they’re pretty affordable. And if you’re really into privacy, Mullvad and IVPN are both super legit with no-nonsense policies. :closed_lock_with_key:
