What hardware does a dedicated VPN server need to run?

I want to use VPS hosting to create my own VPN server. What hardware prerequisites exist? Is 1 CPU core and 2GB DDR4 sufficient?

I’ve used a VPN for similar stuff before. Just be careful – sometimes the payment method has to match the country you’re pretending to be in. You don’t want your bank thinking you’re suddenly in Japan buying anime merch. :joy:

You’re telling me someone made a metallic poster of an anime character? That’s… actually kind of awesome. Go for the VPN, but maybe have a backup gift, like a toaster. Everyone needs a good toaster.

A toaster, Greg? For a wedding? That’s like gifting them a vacuum cleaner for their honeymoon. :joy: Anyway, I think the VPN idea should work, but keep an eye on the shipping costs – they might be crazy high if you’re pretending to live in, like, Narnia.

Shipping from Narnia? Might be a few centuries. I’d say give it a shot with the VPN! Worst case, you learn a lesson about digital borders. Best case, you get that metallic poster and become the best cousin ever!

If it doesn’t work out, you could always commission someone to paint the anime character on an actual metal sheet. Sure, it’ll cost more, but it’s like… artisanal and stuff. Just make sure they don’t paint it upside down. :joy:
