Server Keeps Searching After Being Set on 3rd Gen Firecube

Hey everyone,

I’ve been using NordVPN on my 3rd Gen Firecube, and I started having a weird problem about a week ago. I can connect to a server without any issues, but after a few hours, when I check the connection or try to switch servers, it just says it’s “searching for a server.”

When I run the IP leak test, it shows that I’m still connected through the VPN, so at least that’s working. This has been happening daily, a couple of times each day. I usually connect to servers in New York, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

Has anyone else experienced this, and do you have any suggestions to fix it?

Have you tried restarting the app or your device? Sometimes a little refresh is all it needs!

It might just be having an existential crisis! “To connect or not to connect…” :joy: Have you checked if there are any updates for the Nord app? That could help!

Sometimes, servers can get moody, especially if they’re overloaded. Try switching to a less popular server, or see if Nord has recommended servers in their app.

That’s annoying! Is your Firecube updated to the latest software? Outdated firmware can sometimes cause connectivity issues.

I’d also check your internet connection. If your connection drops even for a second, it could cause the app to go into “searching” mode!

Also, try clearing the cache of the Nord app. Sometimes, a clean slate can work wonders.

i treid but nothing

i will try that one, thanks
