Radmin VPN + VPN

Hi, when utilizing Radmin VPN and also being on a VPN, I’m having some trouble connecting to a friend in a game. My friend and I can still connect to Radmin VPN during games even after I turned it down. I’m genuinely wondering where would i have be looking at to make both works as I’ve hear.

I use protonvpn and the connection in this game deemed to be pair to pair connection.

Why do you operate two VPNs at the same time?

In reality, Radmin VPN isn’t a VPN. All it does is establish local networks.

and to answer your question, generally Radmin vpn assign you a virtual ip address but some persons would be able to expose your true ip address on the radmin vpn network. I’m now using Proton VPN in the background for this reason. I’m sure it’s possible to run both, but I’m not sure how.

I’ll investigate that. Since I only want to utilize Radmin when necessary, I believe that split tunneling is my only chance. I believe split tunneling will be successful; if not, I’ll report.

As you connect to a Radmin IP, check that it is inside Proton’s permitted range for local networks by consulting this article.

If that doesn’t work, you may also try Zerotier or Tailscale; they function similarly to Radmin and I’ve had experience with both running on Proton.
