Nord VPN Browser Extension Not working…?

Has anyone else had trouble connecting to UK servers using the Browser Extension? It seems mine has stopped working on both Firefox and Chrome. The normal VPN client still works, but the Browser Extension keeps hanging on ‘Assigning IP address’ and eventually shows the message ‘Couldn’t Connect, Please try again later.’

I’ve been having the same issue all afternoon. Mostly with UK servers, but also tried US and Italy with no success.

The last time Nord had this issue, I was able to connect to the US, but not this time. Italy seems fine for me, as are Germany, France, and the Netherlands.

There are definitely still issues, even though their Twitter team denies it. I managed to connect to a USA server via the desktop app, but I can’t connect to anything else through that or two different browser extensions.

I’m experiencing the same issue but managed to connect to Canada.

A lot of UK and some USA servers seem to be unresponsive, even though they show as available. This is happening with both the browser and app.

Reinstalling the browser extension usually fixes this. If you have any antivirus extensions running, they could be interfering too. Might be worth checking that :person_shrugging:

The UK connection was really slow for me last night. I was using Chromecast. Spain seemed to work fine.
