Pakistan just banned illegal VPN use and now you have to register to use them. How can I get back to using a VPN?
My country also restricts VPNs. What helped me was using a VPN as a browser extension (I used Windscribe). Once you have that, you can get a full VPN.

This is a clever method that works! I highly recommend checking out this spreadsheet if anyone is looking for good VPN options.
@Dane
If you’re a paying customer, I would suggest reaching out to the VPN’s support. They might be able to provide help. The list seems to be good.
@Dane
Thanks for sharing that spreadsheet

Can’t your ISP still see that you are connected to a VPN? I mean, it hides your activities but they can see the connection and how much data is flowing.

Can we know the country? Just curious.
Mullvad lets you pay in cash, keeping everything completely anonymous. You just send the cash with an account ID you set up without any personal details.

Buying a subscription isn’t the issue. It’s connecting to the VPN servers that gets detected and shut down due to the firewall they implemented (like in China).
@Tilden
You could use bridges or WireGuard for obfuscation with the VPN.
@Tilden
You can run your own VPN in the cloud. Just set up a pfSense VM with a cloud provider (some make it easy), then connect using OpenVPN to your VM. They likely won’t block access to cloud providers. Message me if you need help, I know how to set up VPNs.
@Galen
Hmm.
@Tilden
Sounds good.

Will cash work in India?
@Marsden
You just send the cash to Mullvad’s address. It will work from anywhere.

Thanks man. But they only accept certain currencies. INR isn’t one of them.

Considering it’s Pakistan, you’re probably overdue for another coup anyway.
