I was looking for a VPN to use for a few days. Other VPNs kept trying to push me into their plans. They asked for things like a $14 subscription, a 2-year commitment, or my email to send me ads.
Mullvad was a refreshing change. Within 2 minutes of visiting their website, I was connected to their VPN for just $5 for 30 days. They support iDeal, and I didn’t need to unsubscribe.
I feel the same, I’m new to VPNs too. I tried Proton VPN for a month but didn’t renew after using Mullvad. I really like this company for being open, respecting privacy, and keeping things simple. Just $5 a month for all the features, no tricks. They don’t force you into long-term plans or make the monthly fee super high.
I really don’t need VPNs that come with extra stuff like antivirus or password managers. It just makes the VPN more expensive without adding real value.
I am curious, I’m testing Surfshark right now and it’s okay but the app on Android TV is not that great. How is the Mullvad app on Android TV? Is there any lag?
Mullvad is fantastic! I’ve been using them for years.
I had to switch to ProtonVPN recently because Mullvad has fewer servers and some sites get blocked, but if that wasn’t an issue, I’d still be with Mullvad.
