Meshnet through a phone hotspot?

I recently purchased NordVPN and would like to know if Meshnet can connect my Firestick to my phone when it is in hotspot mode. My wifi is sluggish since I live in the country, thus I have a smart hub with 50mbps, however my mobile connection is double or triple that. Any advice?

Yes, so long as there is internet. There are several threads on how to put it up by mods and redditors. Perform a search using that term.

Yeah, you can use Meshnet with a hotspot, but it can be tricky. Since your phone is acting as both the VPN host and the internet source, you’ll need to make sure the Meshnet feature works with the phone’s hotspot. In theory, the Firestick should be able to connect, but it depends on how the devices handle local networking through the VPN.
