Looking for the Best Free VPN for 2024

I am on the hunt for a free VPN that is reliable and won’t compromise my security or speed. I am considering TunnelBear, Opera VPN, Hotspot Shield, Windscribe, and ProtonVPN.

What recommendations do you have Are any of these good choices I especially want VPNs that are good for torrenting and suitable for iPhone users.

Any tips or warnings about free VPNs I have heard mixed opinions about data privacy and security.

VPNs aren’t really free, or else they would come installed on every computer.

Imagine if every computer had a built-in VPN

Actually, Opera comes pre-installed on the Nintendo DS, and Opera on modern desktops has a VPN built-in. So by that logic, Opera has a free VPN.

VPNs are free. Companies just don’t like them.

If your privacy and port forwarding are important, it’s worth paying a small amount.

Human rights should be free.

Absolutely. Many people fail to realize that.

For safe torrenting, it’s best to go with a paid VPN. Unless you live in a lenient country where pirating isn’t a big deal, then a free VPN may work. Just remember that free VPNs have limitations and likely sell your data.

@Maverick
Which VPNs would you recommend for Android?

It’s strange that the person who posted this just an hour after recommending NordVPN in another thread said what a great deal it was and how good the service is.

Their account was just suspended haha

If something is free, you are likely the product. You can’t put Reliable, Free, Security, and Speed in the same description for VPNs.

Using VPNs on iPhones Seems silly if you don’t have a reliable one.

Brother or sister, just go for a paid VPN. They often offer free trials, so you can test them out first. I recommend SurfShark or NordVPN for the best speeds and strong security. They also work great on iPhones.

Free VPN companies might sell your data for ads, and they’re usually quite slow.
