Is NordVPN cheaper on Amazon than on the NordVPN site

I’m looking to buy a 1 year plan for the basic VPN package of NordVPN. On Amazon it costs 29.98 for a year.

On the NordVPN website, during Black Friday, the basic plan is priced at 80.73 for 2 years plus 3 months.

Am I missing something or is it just better to get NordVPN from Amazon instead of the NordVPN website?

I just got a student discount for 2 years and 3 months which cost around 60 dollars

I wonder if you buy a basic 1 year for 29.98 and then get a 1 year NordVPN Complete if it would give us 2 years of NordVPN Complete

Just so you know, if you got your previous subscription through a third party, it won’t extend. You will need both subscriptions running at the same time

I asked on another platform, and they said yes it will extend without any trouble. So I’m going for the two years from Amazon

It’s always been cheaper to buy codes on sale than to buy directly from NordVPN
