I was using an older version of Proton and can't use it anymore

Is there any way I can still utilize it?

What response do you anticipate here? There is no support for it, and you are solely responsible.

There is. I’ve been using it for the last year, and it’s a year old version, but it simply randomly doesn’t function anymore.

This is one of the dangers you accept by refusing to upgrade.

Yeah, I can update it at any moment, but I don’t use the VPN all day; I just use it to watch WWE since the servers where I reside are sluggish.

How is it possible that you are using an older version

There was formerly a website called old.protonmail.com, but it appears to be no longer operational. Can you tell me why you wish to go back to the previous version? Or are you discussing the design?

They still use the heritage theme:

You may turn it on in the settings:

I can pick from the free servers, but that option is gone, thus I can’t select US servers.

Oh, forget about my answer! I overlooked the fact that this is about ProtonVPN.

Why can’t you just remove the old version and install the new one?

because the new version distributes servers at random, when the prior version did not.
