I can't afford a VPN, Any ideas of what i can do?

I live in a country that has never bothered me about my piracy, but I am getting quite paranoid about that changing. Issue is, I can’t really afford a VPN (and I don’t think Proton works with torrents).

i pirate a lot but rarely use a VPN. What do you torrent exactly?

Movies? There’s fmovies site or millions of others

games? Fitgirl has direct download links

mostly movies and software, I download switch games sometimes as well.

You don’t need a VPN for piracy, at least with direct download links

any sites that provide direct download links for movies? I usually just stream but maybe I’ll want to dl them to watch when there’s no internet

fmovies/123movies etc really suck quality wise and often don’t have new stuff or obscure things.
Torrents are far superior.

Repackers also don’t have every game…

Europixhd has adequate quality for movies and tv shows and they have subtitles

so if i for example downloaded the hacked version of sims 4 from fitgirl id be fine without a vpn? even in a country thats very strict about it stuff like pirating

As long as it a sharehoster (like 1ficher, ddownload, rapigator etc.) and not torrent you are fine.
The main problem with torrents is that your ip is visible for everyone and you are providing the files for others.
If you only download and dont distribute the only thing they could demand is the price for the file you download (like 70€ for a game or software and like 14€ for series that can be watched via netflix/hulu and stuff)
Going after downloaders where they only can get like 100€ if they win is not worth it.

i mean sims 4 is worth about 800 or 900 euros i think with all the expansion packs etc.

yea but as long as you dont distribute the files you are good to go, they still loose more money on lawiers than they get from you if they win.

Nordvpn keys [month] [year] on google :wink: I recommend looking in spanish too: “Claves nordvpn [month in spanish] [year]”
It’s try and error tho, most of them are blocked or fake but sometimes I get accounts for 9 months
