Every thirty seconds, a logo appears in the center of my screen

For the past few hours, every 30 seconds or so, the NordVPN logo appears in the center of my screen for a few seconds before fading away. I tried shutting nord from task management, but it did not appear to resolve the problem. Anyone have a solution? Thanks!

That sounds super annoying! :grimacing: It’s like NordVPN is just out here trying to haunt you, lol. Did you try restarting your computer? Sometimes it’s just a simple fix like that. If it’s still happening, maybe it’s a glitch with the app, so a fresh install might help.

I’ve had this happen once before! It’s usually a notification issue. If you’re using Windows, try going into Settings > Notifications & Actions and disabling NordVPN notifications. It might be pushing an alert that’s just… broken. :man_shrugging:

Yeah, that’s definitely a notification bug. I had this too. What worked for me was reinstalling the app, like User 1 said, but also making sure the app is fully updated. If it’s an older version, weird bugs like this can pop up. :wrench:

It sounds like a visual glitch with NordVPN’s notification system. You might also want to check Windows Task Scheduler. Sometimes apps like Nord can schedule pop-up reminders or notifications that aren’t disabled through normal settings. Go there and see if anything looks suspicious.

Also, if you’ve got any other VPN software installed, they might be conflicting with each other. I had this issue when I had Nord and another VPN both running, and for some reason, I kept getting random pop-ups. After I uninstalled the second one, the problem stopped. Worth checking! :+1:
