As the title suggests, my girlfriend, who resides in the UAE, wants to obtain a VPN, but for some reason, the sites state the payment section cannot be loaded and only show the IP address that could not be contacted for direct payment. Can I purchase her a VPN from my country and just instruct her to use it? We tried using my Kaspersky VPN, but the license was area locked, thus she couldn’t join. Is there a VPN that would enable that? We ideally intended to buy Express VPN.

Yes, you can. For the greatest results, use proton or mullvad. If all you want is something basic and inexpensive, choose 1VPN.

ExpressVPN would probably work as well. However, you should be aware that it is owned by a slightly dodgy corporation.

Yeah, you can totally buy a VPN for her and share the login details. Most VPNs don’t really care where the user is located as long as they can log in. ExpressVPN should work, since they allow multiple devices, and it’s not region-locked like Kaspersky. You could just set up an account, buy it from your country, and then give her the login info.

Yeah, ExpressVPN is a solid choice for this! I’ve done it before with a friend living in a different country. You just need to buy it under your name, and then share the credentials. Should work fine, and no region lock issues like Kaspersky. Just make sure not too many devices are connected at the same time, but other than that, you’re good!

The UAE has some strict internet laws, so VPNs are sometimes tricky to get directly from there. But buying it for her from your country and sharing the account info is a smart workaround. I’ve heard of people doing it with NordVPN too, so if ExpressVPN gives you any trouble, you might try that as well. Just be careful with sharing logins; don’t overdo it on the number of devices.

Definitely possible! I bought Surfshark for my cousin in China, and he’s been using it no problem. I think the key is to choose a VPN that doesn’t have region-locked licenses, so ExpressVPN or Surfshark should work. Once you’ve bought it, you can just send her the username and password, and she should be able to use it no matter where she is.

As long as you avoid region-locked VPNs like Kaspersky, you should be fine. ExpressVPN is one of the best for bypassing regional restrictions, and they’re used a lot in places like the UAE. Just make sure when you buy it, use her email or at least set up the account with her in mind so she can access it easily. Should be smooth sailing after that.

Yeah, and ExpressVPN has like 5 devices per account, so unless you’re both using a ton of devices at the same time, it should work great. Also, if for some reason it doesn’t work, just hit up their support. They’re usually pretty good about helping with these kinds of issues.

Just remember that VPNs are a bit of a gray area in the UAE. She might need to be careful with what she’s using it for. But in terms of getting her set up with ExpressVPN, yeah, you’re good to go. Buy it, share the account, and she should be able to connect no problem.
