Are service credentials created once

Are service credentials created once, or do I need to create them each time I check in?

I want to manually configure Nord on my router, have it as an option on my laptop, and manually configure it on my phone (since I’ve never had an account to download applications). Do I need to create service credentials once or every time I login to a device? Nord’s website is not particularly user-friendly…
